Cho-Hunicke Crowned Champ at Stoneybrook

Orlando, FL.   The SunCoast Ladies Series wrapped up the final round of competition today at Stoneybrook Golf Club in Orlando with LPGA Tour veteran Jeanne Cho-Hunicke (Longwood, FL) earning her fourth SunCoast Ladies Series title.  Jeanne carded rounds of 70-67-70=207 on the 6,250 yard par 72 track to win the event at nine under par.

"I played well this week.  We have long breaks between events on the tour this year and it was nice to be able to come out feeling a little rusty and play as consistently as I did.  I hit the ball well and the putter was working."

Cho-Hunicke's final round two under gives her a three shot victory over Evansville, Indiana native Andrea Werner.  Werner's rounds of 72-68-70 gives her second place honors this week at six under par.  Benedikte "Boo" Grotvedt (Nesbru, Norway) grabs a third place finish this week at four under par.  Series newcomer Megan Dowdy (Leander, TX) followed up a second round 67 with a final round level par to move up into fourth at two under par.  Rounding out the top five is Tiffany Chudy (Miramar, FL) at one under par.

               The SunCoast Ladies Series tees it up for the final event of the summer before heading to California for the Q-School Prep Series.  Rio Pinar Country Club in  Orlando host the tour.  Round one begins 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.
