Follow the SunCoast Ladies Series.

The SunCoast Ladies Series is represented well at LPGA Tour Final Stage of
Q-School.
Though relatively small as an organization in the women's competitive golf
world the SunCoast Ladies Series continues to prove every year to be an
excellent venue and stepping stone for both the accomplished and aspiring
female professional. At this year's final stage of qualifying for the
LPGA Tour 50% of the players who earned a category status competed in the
popular Q-chool Prep Series or, competed on a regular basis throughout the
year. Before the LPGA Tour and the LPGA Futures Tour (now SYMETRA
Tour) combined Qualifying Schools the percentage was closer to 70% for those
earning status on the LPGA Tour and a status of C or better on the LPGA
Futures Tour. The Series' number one and number two money leaders Ginger
Howard (Bradenton, FL) and Jacqui Concolino (Orlando, FL) performed well at
final stage. Concolino (T20) will enjoy a Category 16 status after
losing in a playoff with eight other players to Lizette Salas for that
coveted 20th spot. Howard, who dominated the Summer on the SunCoast
Ladies Series and earned Medalist Honors at second stage, played well but a
second round 79 on the Legends Course at LPGA International proved costly as
she would finish the week one shot out of the top 40 who earned status for
2012. Howard will have full playing privileges on the LPGA Futures
Tour for 2012.
Another point of interest, congratulations to all of the LPGA Tour Players
who call the SunCoast Lades Series home during the off season whose combined
earnings total more than 2.5 million for 2012. A special congrats to
Maria Hjorth and Anna Nordqvist for their Solheim Cup victory this year.
Heading into 2012 the Series will continue to offer a competitive tour for
female professionals and competitive amateurs to prepare for that next step
in acheiving their career goals. Our 2012 tournament schedule will
consist of both 54-hole and 72-hole events on some of the best "Tour
Quality" courses Orlando, Florida has to offer. I look forward to
seeing you in 2012.
Congrats to Tour Members Jodi Ewart and Jessica Yadloczky for getting their
LET Tour card.
